Job Description: Product Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain
Location: Cranberry Township, PA
Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Work with BA's to deliver requirement document with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Act as a leader within the company
- Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to build and manage a motivated team
- Demonstrated abilty to work cross-functianlly and a strong communicator who can build consensus across multiple constituencies.
- Excellent creative instincts, a deep understating of technology, and a strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), management consulting, and supply chain experience a plus
- Technical background, with experience in offshore development
- Performing design, project management, and implantation of new product initiatives
- Leading cross-functional teams in delivering new products and services
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
