Job Description: Freight Broker Agent Recruiter
Location: Cranberry Township, PA
Job Summary
This position is responsible for high volume recruitment in a fast paced environment. The Agent Recruiter is responsible for finding and sourcing qualified Freight Brokers by conducting cold calls, responding to agent inquires, and attending network events. The Agent Recruiter will be responsible for achieving sales targets and objectives.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Initiates contact with possibly qualified brokers for opportunities via phone
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with prospective agents
- Preparing correspondence with agents or interested parties
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified brokers
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
- Provides information on company facilities and agent opportunities to potential agents
- Coordinates communication with applicants
- Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- PC proficient (Microsoft Office preferred), communication and organizational skills, ability to adapt to job requirements. Prior transportation or brokerage not required. Experience in high volume recruitment is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degree or advanced degree is preferred
- 1-3 years of Sales or Recruiting experience is required
